We process your personal data for the following purposes: for the account on our platform, for the use of our platform, for the preparation of offers and agreements, so that we can contact you, so that we can inform about changes to our services and so that we can deliver our services. We only process personal data necessary for these purposes.

We also process your personal data to fulfill legal obligations, improve our services, handle complaints and prevent fraud.

We never sell your personal data to third parties. To take care of your personal data, we enter into a processing agreement with companies if those companies process your data on our behalf.

    Want to know what personal data we have processed? Then check your account in our app. Do you have any questions about this? If so, contact the administrator of your community. If you still can’t figure it out, you can email info@socie.nl. You will receive a response within four weeks at the latest.

    Is your personal data incorrect, incomplete, irrelevant to the purposes for which it was processed or otherwise in violation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or other legislation? If so, you have the right to have your personal data corrected. Correction means correcting, supplementing, deleting or blocking your personal data. You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data, the right to have less data processed, the right to withdraw consent you have given and the right to data portability. Send your request to the administrator of your community. Not getting anywhere with the administrator? Send your request to info@socie.nl. You will receive a response to the request within four weeks at the latest. We would also like to alert you to the possibility of filing a complaint with the Personal Data Authority.

    Safety

    Personal data is personal and must remain personal. We think it’s just as important as you that your personal data doesn’t end up on the street or being processed unlawfully. Therefore, we apply all possible technical and organizational measures to process your personal data securely. To secure your personal data, we use automatic deletion of outdated data, backups, restricted access to personal data, security software such as a virus scanner and firewall, a secure Internet connection, a protocol for handling data breaches and security incidents, encryption and passwords for electronic systems.

    Retention of personal data

    We do not keep your personal data longer than strictly necessary for the fulfillment of the purposes. If legal requirements apply to retention, personal data will not be kept longer than required by law.
